Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is ideally located right outside Alnwick Castle and Gardens entrance, offering easy access to nearby attractions. The rooms, although small and lacking good lighting advice for the bathroom area mirror, were uncomfortably hot, even with a Dyson and fan provided. The service was friendly and helpful, but there were delays in getting drinks. The dining experience was excellent with high-quality ingredients, though the breakfast could be improved. The location receives a top score for its proximity to Alnwick Castle and being a great base for exploring. The facilities were decent overall, without any significant highlights.
Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! The rooms were so comfortable and spacious; it was a joy to stay here with comfortable beds and an exceptionally nice en-suite to our room. The service was top-notch, with staff who were lovely and one of the best breakfasts we have had in a long time. The location couldn't have been better, with easy walking distance to the castle and gardens. The dining experience was absolutely delicious with a great choice of goodies. Overall, a fabulous stay with great value for money.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room was so comfortable and cozy, exceeding our expectations, but the shower room was a bit cramped and the cost was on the higher side for what we got. The large roof beams on either side of the bed posed a challenge for taller guests like my husband.
